Esports team logo and stream kit: the KATHE Esports case
Building a mascot logo, team poster, jersey, overlay, emotes and panels for an esports team in one visual language. How the KATHE Esports kit was designed, step by step.

KATHE is a streamer and the founder of an esports team in the making. He didn’t want the two identities to look separate: viewers entering the stream should recognise the team, and players who see the team should recognise the stream. So the kit was built around one mascot.
The mascot: a hooded figure
The team’s spirit was “the squad that plays from the shadows”. A hooded figure with no visible face, glowing eyes and purple fire behind. With no face, the figure can represent the streamer and everyone on the team — a big advantage for an esports logo.
The logo comes in two versions: mascot + wordmark (jersey, banner) and a standalone K monogram (Discord icon, emote corners, small uses).
Colour: one purple and lightning
The palette is deliberately narrow: deep purple ground, light lilac type, white glow. Energy comes from lightning; the banner, offline screen and team poster share the same lightning language. As the team grows, new player cards can be made from the same template.
Team poster and jersey
The team poster shows five hooded silhouettes side by side under “stronger together”. The jersey carries the logo on the chest, claw marks on the sleeves and a name area on the back. We used the jersey inside the stream too: the corners of the overlay frame come from the jersey’s claw marks.
The stream set
Overlay and chat frame, a “stream offline” screen, channel banner, 6 emotes and 7 panel buttons. We also wrote the Twitch and Kick bio: who he is, what he plays, the team’s goal — in three lines. A purple version of our neon alert set is planned for alerts.
Order matters
- Lock the logo and colour.
- Build the stream set (overlay, offline, panels, emotes).
- Do the team poster and jersey last — by then the whole language is settled.

Frequently asked
1.What makes a good esports team logo?
A clear silhouette that reads small (a mascot or a monogram), two main colours, and versions that work with and without the team name. The logo has to work on a jersey, as a Discord icon and in a stream corner at the same time.
2.What goes into an esports kit?
Logo + monogram, channel banner, team poster, overlay, offline screen, emotes and panels, alerts, social templates and a jersey concept. If the streamer also founded the team, every piece should speak the same language.
3.How long does an esports kit take?
Once the logo is approved, the rest of the kit usually takes 5–10 days. Logo and colour are locked first, then the stream set, then the jersey and social assets.
4.Do you design kits for esports teams?
Yes. Send the team name, your games and one or two examples you like on WhatsApp; we build the kit from logo to jersey.
